I just landed on creating a new doc in @ia Writer to hold my logline, synopsis, and treatment 💪

@techphotoguy @ia Who says this isn’t triggered from my Stream Deck? I don’t cover all the ways I trigger my shortcuts when mentioning them.

I’m curious what you do, this is just step 1 of the first of many phases

@jeffperry I always struggle once I have an idea to get into some form that makes it real without having to start a script.

Part of it is that I use separate apps so there’s not one central place besides my project manager, but I don’t want to capture details there among my other projects – and that’s not permanent.

Starting a simple doc in a folder with a nice app as the front end works well for me

@techphotoguy Nice, that’s pretty much what I’ll do in front of this doc. My notes aren’t as central to my workflow though

@techphotoguy This is my concepting phase, and then after my research and such it goes into script & then pre-production.

Next making the beats into a story vs scripting directly is where I don’t have a perfect order of operations, I try to script too early often.

This doc is like before I start research and just write down “what is it” in a one-liner and then the proper summary

I've been running one shortcut since 4:30.

It's called "Log all shortcuts" and iterates through my folders, grabbing the shortcuts from each and passing them to Airtable.

It's "only" done about 50 folders and 586 shortcuts out of my total collection.

You can now call into Arc Browser and ask it to search the web for you – using the Action button too 📲

@nocturne1 @stephenrobles Ah yeah it’s not a Home action, it’s basically the iOS widget.

Home shortcuts only have a limited subset. You can technically achieve this by getting the current state and the using the If action with two Control Home actions for on and off though
