Oxford City Council determines UK has left the Council of Europe.

And as a treat, here's the Coventry Evening Telegraph reporting that the flag of the Council of Europe is flying over Coventry on the 15th of March 1956. "The flag is azure blue, with 12 stars."

Der ICC haut Haftbefehle gegen Netanjahu und Gallant raus für diverse Kriegsverbrechen nach Artikel 7 und 8 des Rom-Statuts. Darunter auch das Aushungern der Zivilbevölkerung als Kollektivbestrafung.

Für die Hamas-Bosse hagelt es ebenfalls Haftbefehle für diverse Verbrechen und die sofortige Freilassung der Geiseln wird gefordert.

Sie erkennen das Recht Israels sich zu verteidigen ausdrücklich an, aber betonen, dass das nach internationalem Recht geschehen muss.

For reasons that I cannot disclose right now, but will soon, I recently looked into BIMI. And... I have some concerns. BIMI is a spec built on top of DKIM and DMARC, and allows companies to show a logo beside their emails in supporting frontends (like gmail). It requires purchasing a very expensive certificate, I think the justification for it is dubious, and I am not a fan. But even if we put that aside, it's also very strange on a technical level. 🧵

My father wanted to pay a EDF French electricity bill from a Belgian bank account, and was told that this was not possible because the bank was outside France

I formulated a stern email to EDF for him, in French, stipulating this was not allowed as a reason within the Single European Payment Area (SEPA), and within a few hours they relented in a grovelling email!
