I swear if I see another "principal engineer" post a screenshot of resource monitor, whining about the "good old days" without even doing a 3-second exploration into what the numbers they posted mean or why they are that way, I'm going to become a supervillain

@fasterthanlime best supervillain origin story so far.

Just took a detour to my local bookstore to get my @pluralistic fix. After having read his Lost Cause, which left me longing for the cookbook, I'm curious to read more from the Marty Hench series. Red Team Blues was a real page Turner, so if The Bezzle is anything like this, I'll be through it by Sunday.

This morning I enabled Tauri to use an embedded Servo as webview following the instructions in this blog post: https://servo.org/blog/2024/01/19/embedding-update/. It's far too early to say this, but in principle this could mean the end of needing Chromium-backed Electron apps.

if you're an infrequent command line user -- what text editor do you use if you need to occasionally edit a file on the command line (other than vim/emacs)?

curious about what people use to edit a git commit message etc

if you picked 'other', I'd love to hear what you do in the replies!

@b0rk occasionally I'm still starting up VSCodium, but most of the time now I'm using helix.
