If they have the corral I put it in the corral. If not I will bring it back to the store or try to avoid taking it to my car in the first place so I can leave it at the store and not come back.

The key is to return the cart to a designated location where the store is asking that they be returned.

I wish there was a better explanation of the color in the article. As I expected, Texas is last likely to be cloudy (and warmer than other options). It’s where I was wanting to go since the last eclipse, but now my stepdaughter is dealing with back problems and we might roll the dice on a shorter drive to Ohio or Indiana, if we can go at all.

I’m 40 and hoping to start soon. Saw a psychiatrist last week for the first time and he wants to try me on stimulant medications but I needed to talk to my primary care doctor first because my heart rate has been high. She put me on a beta blocker for the tachycardia and I’m hoping to start soon. I forgot to actually ask the psychiatrist if he thinks I have ADHD but I’m assuming that’s a yes if he wants to try me on meds.

Literally happened tonight, I was trying to break one of these chicken jerky treats for my dog by folding it over on itself and somehow smashed a finger inside the two halves when it snapped over.

Wait, ADHD might be why I occasionally bump into walls, too? Does it relate to why I seem unusually prone to biting my cheek/tongue? I think I have ADHD; I went to a psychiatrist last week for an evaluation but forgot to ask at the end of the session if he thinks I have it, but he wants to try me on stimulant medication so I’m assuming that’s a yes.

I think a lot of American planners expect the next war to be against China more than Russia, most likely as part of efforts to reclaim Taiwan militarily. Whether that actually happens or not, China seems to be trying to build a military that can win against the U.S., either by matching strengths or some more asymmetric means. I think I saw a story recently that China was constructing mockups of American navy ships in a desert that seem to be for war gaming, as an example.

[Question] Do charging stations generally accept credit/debit cards?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I currently drive a hybrid and am looking to upgrade in the next 1- 2 years to either PHEV or full EV. In either scenario, I envision most of my charging will be done at home. However, if I go full EV, I will eventually need to charge in public....

I wound up in a rental for close to two months last fall. The Electrify America chargers took credit cards but charged more. It looked like you could also get an RFID card that identified you and billed to the account on file at the lower rate. I used another weird DC fast charge that was part of Shell’s network and related to Duke Energy that was app only, very annoying. I used a level 2 from ChargePoint and had to use the app. The cell service didn’t matter; it was deep in an underground garage with no signal. I had to go out to download the app, then came back in to initiate the charging session. It was annoying to do in the moment, but once the account was set up worked pretty easily, and it looks some of those apps work with other networks. I think it would be okay as long as I was signed up on a few networks, but I’d really rather be able to just tap my credit card and go, no signup needed. That was part of the IRA, but it’ll take time to roll out.

Are you from outside the U.S., or how old are you? He was always included in lessons about the Civil Rights movement in history class for me, because he was so impactful at the time in what was the nation’s most popular sport.

Wow, that just straight-up made the Iron Man mask. I wonder when the Disney lawyers get involved?

I’m assuming people who already bought the game can still play it?

What happened at the nation's first nitrogen gas execution: An AP eyewitness account (apnews.com)

ATMORE, Ala. (AP) — As witnesses including five news reporters watched through a window, Kenneth Eugene Smith, who was convicted and sentenced to die in the 1988 murder-for hire slaying of Elizabeth Sennett, convulsed on a gurney as Alabama carried out the nation’s first execution using nitrogen gas.

For some reason I thought that modern machine-made socks couldn’t be darned. Maybe because my understanding is that other modern clothes like pants that rip next to a seam can’t be reliably repaired? (Like, the seam holds but the fabric itself rips)

Does not flying Unity to conserve cash reserves mean they’re losing money on each Unity flight?

Was this the game I heard described as Bird Box meets UPS?

Why are we required to sit down when getting our blood pressure taken? Would the results be affected if we were standing?

when patients get their blood pressure taken at the doctor’s office, the doctor requires you to sit, legs uncrossed. But what would happen if we stand up to get our blood pressure taken? can we stand? or do we have to sit? And why?

If this is a phrase you’ve never heard in a business context, it basically means they find your price to be a little high and are asking you to come back with a lower quote/estimate/bid. At least that’s how I’ve heard it.
