@ivory The app is missing support for playing audio attached to a post. It shows up as an empty image and nothing happens upon clicking. I can listen to it just fine when opened in a browser.

@ivory I hope that you can add a setting to boost posts with one click. I almost never use the quote-post feature and when I want it, I can simply long-press on iPhone or secondary-click on Mac. It's annoying to have to do two taps/clicks for an action that previously required only one.

@ivory Do you intent to integrate with the native Mastodon feature for muting specific users? Currently when I mute a user in Ivory, that account doesn't show under https://mastodon.online/mutes. I don't know which Mastodon version added this feature, my instance is currently using Mastodon v4.3.0-nightly.2024-03-19.

@ivory It bugs me there's no way to close the Compose window on macOS with the keyboard, if you have written something in it. You can use Command-W, but you have to use the pointer to click “Delete Draft" or “Save Draft”. I suggest adding keyboard shortcuts, like Command-Backspace for “Delete Draft" and Command-S for “Save Draft”, in addition to being able to focus these buttons (and the “Cancel" button) with the tab key and click the selected control with the spacebar (which is also missing).

I can't wait to explain how we're doing Project Tapestry. It's simple, powerful, and most importantly, extensible. If anything, we're underselling the capabilities in the video and pitch.

It still kinda blows my mind that we were able to pull it off. I haven't been this excited about the future possibilities of a project since the day we launched Twitterrific in 2007.

@Vivaldi Are you working on support for the iCloud Keychain integration for passkeys on macOS? We can already use passkeys from iCloud Keychain on other Chromium-based browsers and really soon on Firefox. Vivaldi still not supporting it is a huge bummer and really hurts the convenience and ease of use of passkeys.

This isn't the final design or layout. Half of the buttons don't work. There's still SO much to do.

But the rewrite hit a huge milestone last week: I'm now able to use it myself to listen to my podcasts.

And it's finally starting to feel like home.
