I was just robbed for the first time in my life.

Next to a grocery store, two young men asked me if I could change €20 for them. I rummaged in my wallet, and one of the guys distracted me by rummaging in his wallet and discussing what kind of change he needed.

Then the other guy ripped all my banknotes out of my pocket, and they ran away. Since it was dark, I didn't notice any useful details. I reported this to the police, but don't expect to see those €300 again.

Er det egentlig greit at #BankID har nedetid overhode? Og spesielt har 9 timer nedetid, slik de skal ha fra i kveld kl 22 til i morgen kl 7? Alle er avhengige av BankID til alt!

@forteller Wow, spicy! Norway's central SSO-solution #BankID (https://status.bankid.no) down for maintenance tomorrow night for whopping 9 hours.

I'm wondering if they really mean the whole platform, or if you will still be able to log in with the code-generator brick...

It's definitely "slow time" for users, but undoubtedly plenty will get bitten by this. And of course all several million users don't get any warning, unless you go to the web-page and check for announcements...

Ich habe auf meiner lokalen Facebook-Gruppe für #Oldenburg gesagt, wo man lokal die #COVID -Impfung bekommen kann.

Warum habe ich das gemacht? 😩

Es hat sich eine wahnsinnige Menge Wut und Hass während der Pandemie angesammelt. Und das geht jetzt auch nicht wieder weg, und trägt zur Radikalisierung der Gesellschaft bei.

@jon Welcome to my home-stretch (often coming from Amsterdam).

I can take a bus from Roermond to Vlodrop, drag my suitcase through 500m of country-side, and hope for a bus on the German side or ask for a pick-up.

The all-train-alternative (Venlo-MG-Hückelhoven) almost doubles the price and adds an hour 😕

Die Leute, die sich früher geweigert haben, QR Codes vom Display einzuscannen weil es ja eine Fälschung sein könnte sondern einen Ausdruck zu verlangen sind die gleichen, die jetzt das Display verlangen, weil der Ausdruck gefälscht sein könnte.

Das Problem ist fehlende digitale Bildung.

    Github has recently started to show me a lot of useless recommendation spam like this. Is there a way to get rid of these completely (the "show me less" button is intolerably audacious – and doesn't seem to change a thing) or should I finally move my stuff away from github? If yes, whereto?

    @me_ What @sirjofri says, who has time to even look at that? When I have Github.com open in the web-browser, it's because I'm going to do something extremely specific and my brain filters this lost screen estate out anyway.
