This is wrong on so many levels. Not only does it do away with separation of church and state, students with disabilities are left in the cold. @acarson @bryansmart @wiljames maybe that’s because they’re the ones that are the most exclusionary. Religious institutions is a whole seem to be exclusionary, at least in this area. You wanna know when I was the most useful at church? When the power went out and they needed someone to follow down the stairs because they weren’t used to navigating in the dark.

@acarson @bryansmart @wiljames it’s not just disabilities either. Don’t like the opposite gender? You’re hated. Wanna listen to Ozzy Osbourne, you’re committing some kind of outrageous crime. It’s about expecting everything to be uniform and perfect by their standards. That’s disgusting. Also, this acting like decent. People are the bad guys because they don’t stand for exclusion has got to quit from everybody.

@bryansmart @wiljames @acarson I will presume to do whatever I please if it’s the difference between bigotry and being allowed to be yourself. If you are actively encouraging someone to hang around in an environment, where bigotry is prevalent, I will tell you exactly what to do with your life because that’s inherently wrong.

@Rich makes sense. I tried to register scramble yesterday because I totally forgot to do that when I got the new computer and it took me a lot of minutes to get it done because I kept mistyping my own email address.

I have a theory as to why I set everything on my computer to laptop mode, even though I have a desktop keyboard. It has to do with the simple fact I’m left-handed and it’s easier to hold down that modifier key with my left hand. Thoughts? Maybe one of you has managed to come up with a reason I hadn’t thought of.

Genuinely quite surprised at the number of people coming out to say throwing a milkshake at Farage was 'assault' and must never happen to politicians. I absolutely agree politicians should not be subject to violence, but there is a long, proud history of throwing foodstuffs at people as a form of protest. Intended to humiliate and ridicule, not to injure. Pleased to see Mastodon mostly agrees.

Often times, tools like Trusted Tester certifications are not enough to prove how usable a product is until you truly put it in front of real users who can assess the validity of the software, services and platforms that companies are building. Please everyone, let's change the conversations when we are meeting with these companies. Are we buying into equal and equitable experiences with our purchases and how can we be assured of this? Transparency is crucial.
