What's that lovely world they came up with for people who wore Google Glasses? Oh, yeah.

Glassholes.

I keep refreshing Thingiverse, how has no one made a 3D printable stand or case for Vision Pro yet? 😛

Shit take of the year, so far… the product has a roughly 3 month wait time.

I dare say that there is no reason to market an item when demand outstrips supply.

"They also point out that the initial rush of customers would be dominated by early adopters or Apple enthusiasts, who might be more forgiving of the fact that the company may not have worked out all of the kinks -- or found a so-called killer app."

That's a quote from April 6, 2010 in the LA Times on the iPad.

“Alexa is in trouble”: Paid-for Alexa gives inaccurate answers in early demos

We have to ask ourselves, are they doing this to "save #Alexa" from when it was called a financial failure in 2023 or are they doing this because they believe it solves a real need people have?

I could be wrong but it feels like the former.

Ok, I used the Apple Vision Pro for about 30 minutes. It’s good. It’s expensive. It’s VERY design, and MUCH engineering. I’m intrigued as hell. https://techcrunch.com/2023/06/05/first-impressions-yes-apple-vision-pro-works-and-yes-its-good/
