@gedeonm Same here. Until relatively recently I thought they were disgusting. The (I guess) new trend of charring them takes them to a whole level, though. Charred with a honey drizzle even take it higher!

New iPad Pro ordered placed!

My last iPad Pro lasted me six years. It’s still doing fine, but I wanted to go ahead and get a new one. It’s probably my most used device. It’s my computer, sometimes TV, stereo, and e-reader. I have a Mac, but only use it for work.

  • Camera on the long side of the iPad (where it belongs)
  • Longer battery life
  • Faster processor (duh)

@gedeonm Bummer. That’s the same model I’m coming from. I use the device as a comic reader a lot and I was really hoping the weight difference would be noticeable for that.

@gedeonm There is a very noticeable weight difference, to me. However, my 2018 was a cellular model, and this new one is WiFi only.

Disagree with @semaforben"s setup for his interview with Joe Kahn. We who criticize The Times don't want it to help Biden win. We want it to fully report on what is at stake with the rise of fascism in the US and to report fairly on Biden.

Watched the first ep of cause everyone seems to be talking about it. Was pretty fun but I’m kinda lost. Never watched this show back in the day. I know some of the characters but that’s about it. Some of the art direction is pretty impressive.
