@Fedilab latest beta 3.27 beta2 no longer remembers my position in the timeline. I normally run around 24 hrs behind, and it has been fine before the update today via fdroid

Otherwise set up CLI parameters to log to a file.

Ideally the clients should have an option to route it to a file, I guess.

A Gallup poll shows only 32% of Americans trust the media which is the lowest score ever tying 2016 poll results.

Trust in the media has been on a downward trend for decades in the US. 2016 was a pivotal point where due to Trump, Republicans trust in the media collapsed while for Democrats it spiked.

With Trump now out of office, Democrats’ trust in the media is now collapsing and reverting back towards pre-Trump trends towards distrust.

I’m sure there are lots of theories for this trend

Mobile apps have made sharing ridiculously difficult. If I see a link on Mastodon I can view it from an app. But I cannot copy text as well as the URL because the link is viewed in the app and not on my browser. Even open source apps are part of this enshittification. I’m just an old guy missing the blogosphere and trackbacks
