Sophie has gotten into the habit of curling up under the duvet with me at night - which is lovely as who wouldn’t like a purring cat sleeping next to them? Cutting Edge on Mythic Fyrakk finally completed!

That's all 3 Cutting Edge Achievements for Dragonflight done and dusted 😁

Especially satisfying as before DF I had never been able to achieve a single CE before, because the guilds I'd been in previously weren't capable of pushing the hardest end bosses enough.

I always knew I was capable of doing it, just needed the right environment to reach that potential I guess!

So that's DF capped off with all 3 CE's here's hoping TWW goes just as well!

If you made a food that had one gram of sugar and one gram of antimatter sugar (kept in a metastable magnetic trap, of course), how would you do the nutrition label?
Does it have 2 grams of sugar?
Does it have 1, because you can only digest the regular matter sugar?
Does it have 0, because they cancel each other out?

For the longest time, Bella hasn’t really used any soft things to sleep on - at most, she’s used a thin yoga mat we’ve got on the floor. So it’s lovely to see her snoring on this fluffy blanket we left on the floor & she then claimed #CatsOfMastodon

Briefly puzzled to receive an email in which the first line of the message body read "bcc:" with the address of a mailing list.

At first I thought it was a mistake – a failed attempt at a real Bcc header. But the message arrived, so there must have been a real one too.

Now I realise: the point of using Bcc in this case is to avoid accidental reply-to-all. But it's not secret who it was Bcced to, so the sender has helpfully included the information in the message body.

Makes perfect sense!

There are lots of urban foxes around where we live & its not unusual to see them wandering around in the day - especially in winter when pickings are thin on the ground.
... which is why Bella ended up hitting the nose of a brave fox who was putting it through the cat flap at lunch time!
She went from her normal nervous #cat to a fierce beast with giant puffed out tail!
The fox ended up looking in the house with interest, as Bella was thwacking at the glass to get it!

At first glance, you’d think “Awww; they do love each other, curling up together”
Unfortunately this isn’t the case. Bella - the tabby cat on the left is in Sophie’s preferred spot. Sophie is pushing her way to be as close to her preferred place as possible, whilst also trying to ignore Bella’s existence. As for Bella? She’s just ignoring Sophie #CatsOfMastodon

Anyone else has a cat that tells them to go to bed every night :neocat_angel_pleading: ? I was initially very surprised when my mommy cat started acting like Morgana from #Persona5 and would headbutt and meow at me to go to sleep.

She'd jump on the my desk and deliberately block my screen, meow, then jump on my bed and scream at me. She'd only stop when I'd switched off the lights and lay on my bed. She'd then curl up at my feet to sleep. :neocat_flop_sleep:

My smol cat doesn't care. I guess it's mommy cat's maternal instinct?
