Scotland has been colonised by England for centuries. This was never, as claimed, a union of equals.
It's astonishing the level of enthusiasm there actually is for independence, given the extent to which the average Scottish person is hosed down daily with Unionist propaganda. Were people to be told the truth, instead of the diet of lies they're fed, they would intuitively support independence

News outlets are reporting that Trump recently summoned fossil fuel executives to his golf resort and promised to roll back environmental regulations in his second term in exchange for campaign cash.
The US is already trashing the environment, let alone with dismantling what limited protections there are.
It's insane the choice is between an accomplice to a genocide and a Captain Planet villain. What a terrible position for America and the broader world to be in

I've heard people remark that Labour just imported a scandal with Elphrike. That they shot themselves in the foot for no apparent electoral gain. But I'm not so sure. This is Labour saying to the electorate who they are. And, as you say, all remaining Corbynites will be expelled and the mask concealing who they really are is slowly removed

I was just reminded of around twenty years ago when this guy who I knew on LiveJournal took extreme creative liberty and used the head from my LiveJournal profile pic and Photoshopped an image of me and sent it to me as a "gift" and I was just like "uhhhhhhhhhh...thank you?"

I imagine the many girls' reaction to this would be, "this is very creepy and weird, but at least it's not a picture of his genitals". And it's very sad that even today that should still hold true for most women on the internet
