After cleaning up the flux it looks like I did a decent job #soldering this after all.
Most difficult was the drag-soldering on the square #smd chip and I almost goofed it up.😁
I love the segmented #retro look on this.

It's the weekend and I'm knee-deep in this #Sony #PSX (the actual PSX DESR-5000).
It seems the DVD recording laser is shot and I have to source a new one.😬
Also: judging from that internal power connector I can probably put a REPS2 psu in there.

This #Nintendo #GameBoy has surely seen better days, but I got it for free.
It's filthy, yellowed, the screen has stripes and there's no sound.
I'm not into handhelds, but my OCD has already kicked in, so I have to make this whole again.🤷‍♂️

New box, got a cheap FS-AA51 plug so if it works I’ll have another working MSX2. Also a boxed PC-FX and some kind of video card for a PC88. A rare error by Buyee packaging too, they packed the plug the wrong way around and it went through the box #RetroGaming #RetroComputing

Newest addition to the collection is #SpaceShuttle by #Activision for the #Commodore #C64.
Been on the hunt for this for a long time.
The box has some flight instructions and the manual is just off the charts cool with tons of information.😍

The #JCIA chips have arrived today from retro8bitshop.com and I installed them in the #SixtyClone after work.
They work like a charm and my #C64GS is now made from 99% new parts.

This is my version of a gaming setup.
I tried to make it so that a few consoles are always plugged in and ready. Then there's the "jump spot" for taking consoles off the shelf an easy plug in.
Putting the TV on the wall with a swivel arm helped free up room.
Cable management is always in need of improvement.
