I have heard various things from people supporting the israeli engagement in and driven violence in the
If the rest of the country thinks they are terrorists, there is not much visible action. Even german public tv @ZDF noted that they were silently supported by the military.
I have also heard voices like "when all is over will need to justify himself before court in for handling the run-up and the engagement".

I am watching this conflict since the early eighties and up to now I never saw policy actions treating the as terrorists (looking at ).
I also saw as a state foster and strengthen , so as to weaken the (at that time much more boiled down and rational) . Perhaps we indeed are, as you suggest at a turning point. In 3-6 months it will be clear what the plans are for

On the palestinian side, as long as political actors deny the right of to exist we have a problem. Sadly, throwing each other in the Mediteranean seems at the moment the only common understanding of the extremists. The leadership seems corrupt and weak. As they cannot guarantee the lives of their own people () I do not expect anybody to follow them into any political bargaining or deal.

Still, for the time being they run the government. I am not sure how a feasible alternative gov. could look.
Besides that, there seems to be consensus(?) in the military to turn a blind eye on settlers killing palestinians to take over their land. This makes me pessimistic for any substantial change. The main assumption seems to be that has and will retain military superiority.

A whole lot of people can't go to the dentist because it's so expensive. Everyone has teeth. They're not special. Furthermore, the health of one's mouth can greatly inform one's overall health. Why can't it just be a basic service. By sheer fucking volume alone, they'd make a shit ton of money. Unless the idea is to work less and charge more.

    What can I expect when I return to after recovering from ? It's my first time and I have no idea what comes next or how much of a struggle it might be.

    I'm beginning to feel normal again and hoping to start up this weekend. I know I'll have lost fitness and will have to take it slowly for a time.

    Woke up, worked my ass off because I had to get to the rehab facility to take my dad to the neurologist. I had to go in the Ambulette with him, couldn't meet them at the hospital. I rush to get there, am on time and go to sign papers. The Ambulette is late, so I'm a little stressed. Cell rings, it's the neurologist's office telling me that they know I'm en route, but the doctor is sick and they need to reschedule. I'm fucking done with this day and I'm smoking a bowl.
