Apparently, the has just launched "Woke Watch", where red faced pillocks send in angry e-mails, complaining about transgender asylum seekers giving their house prices pronoun cancer, or something.

Anyway, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should one e-mail wokewatch@dailymail.co.uk to , or just plain take the piss. No, that would be WRONG. Oh, for shame!

@alexanderhay Charlie Brooker (black mirror) used to have a fabulous web zine in the 90s called TV Go Home, which was a fabulously snarky take on a page from the TV Times - on it was the fake show called Daily Mail Island, this will be worse.

hi all #vispo, #concretePoetry and #poetry folk. I have a column set up to show me posts on visual poetry etc. And it's gone pretty quiet. Except for a few fabulous regulars like:

@JPK_elmediat @LauraKerrArt yes there's definitely a skew to digital art, computational and generative stuff. I enjoy that, but really love the non computer versions or early computer experiments. Like the Aaron Marcus piece I posted. I'm going raid my library tonight, to see what I can post. Also, thank you for the many interesting things you share!

The trick to doing successful voice synthesis demos in the early days was to make sure that the listeners knew what was going to be said in advance. Best of all, let them type in what they want the voice to say. 100% recognition, every time! Trust me on this.

    Need a job? This one at Netflix pays just a tad more than average.

    While these salaries of course exist in Silicon Valley, it’s rare they are publicly advertised.

    (It’s towards the bottom of the post: Up to $900,000/yr, and the way this reads I think the winning candidate could negotiate this further up.)

    @J12t this them trying to get around the State (inc cali) rules that say they need to display salary ranges. So they stick ridiculous ranges on it (supposedly reflecting current salaries). Someone posted one for google that was something liked 100k to 1m.

    last year I found myself heavily doodling in corporate meetings. Here's 4 doodles that emerged - I don't know why but I think of them as the shapes of the meetings. Also, I found I liked it so broke out the coloured pentals after the first few.
