The company behind tik tok said they will not sell they America is only 20% of their global market. They have refused to give their source code.

So guess app just won’t work in US. Dumb ass lawmakers only people this hurt are the US citizens that are using it to make money.

Didn’t I just read a story about a unhinged teacher threatening to shoot another teacher after an argument? And said teacher went to get said gun?

Yeah this will end with kids dead I can promise you that.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

Must be nice for the states to ignore federal laws and at the same time take in federal money. WAY MORE then they pay in.

Biden should revoke federal dollars to any state that refuses to follow federal laws.

Our local went on and on how they are threatening Jewish people. Even showing videos. Funny the racist things being said on tv were not in English. Yet they translated it was death to Jews.

I wanted fucking scream. They are totally trying to push the protesters are antisemitism. And bullshit.

Unfortunately this want make it to the mainstream media.

Never understood keeping secret service protection after they are no longer in power? As anyone tried to kill a former president?

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

There was movie with Jame Gardner and Jack Lemon they were both ex presidents. James character asked that question and then said something about how they don’t give shit when you no longer president. Great movie wish it could end for Trump way did in that film.

Lol ever read the book or seen the movie? I own the whole book series and love the movie. So no spoilers for me. I just like consistently in my narrators.

Just like I can buy anymore Alex Delaware books because can’t stand the new narrator. The another guy was 10 times better.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

But the same guy did come back it’s just the one book.

What happened to her. In 2015 she was a Bernie Sanders supporter and was a big help in 2016. By 2020 she was a toxic piece of shit.

Justices are probably afraid that we will revolt if they make being homeless illegal. Because we should if they do.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

Listen to audiobook it’s a interesting story. Does OP want a complete list? Because just finished my 69th book for the year so far and 12 audiobooks. Goal is over 100 stories read by end of year which probably accomplish before the end of June.

Fredselfish,

Yeah decided to keep a detail list. I am reading between 150 to 250 pages a day. Keep in mind some on my list are short stories but my wife says they count. Having a library card and a Libby account been great for that.

And on what reading now hard to clarify. The last book on my list I started and finished yesterday and was 80 pages into Gerald’s Game by Stephen King.

Probably finish it today our tomorrow depending on how busy we get a work.

That be neat to do 200 but for now just trying reach 100 mark. I keep three books on hand at a time so we will see. I post a big pic of all the physical books at the beginning of next year and screen shot of the ebook reading list.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

I read between 150 to 200 pages a day on average. Started January 2nd to present time. Today reading Gerald’s Game by Stephen King. Book I read before but been a long time. Also some of those were short stories I either bought on kindle our got from Libby.

My goal is 100 but believe I will surpass that. I do hope to listen to 25 audiobooks as well before end of year.

But since I don’t drive a delivery truck anymore it might not happen. Only listen when commuting or working on Lego.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

Bet the media ignore this, at least the ones in favor of Trump.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

I don’t have any faith in this Supreme Court to do the right thing. I am sure the facsiest and for profit prisons hope they vote their way.

We should revolt if they do. How do you make illegal to be homeless if our government and society won’t help them not be so?

Democrats should rally people against this but they won’t.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

Well we get to watch the Supreme Court make that decision. I really want to see how Thomas and Roberts justify doing just that.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

Really Biden on a election year your going kill children. I really think Democrats like losing to Republicans.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

An hour of talking to the man. Must been white because a black man would not get this treatment if asked to exit vehicle. Matter of fact they probably wouldn’t have asked.

Fredselfish,
@Fredselfish@lemmy.world avatar

Really didn’t know that, thought it was white hicks that believed in that crap.
