Just found this...

Does anyone remember these ? :)

I'd be interested in a drive if anyone can spare one. (I realise they are incredibly rare)

Ask Microsoft: Are you using our personal data to train AI?

We had four lawyers, three privacy experts, and two campaigners look at Microsoft's new Service Agreement, and none of our experts could tell if Microsoft plans on using your personal data – including audio, video, chat, and attachments from 130 products, including Office, Skype, Teams, and Xbox – to train its AI models.

Midi parser working great now, a few tweaks to force monophony (and may need a few more) sound is via a piezo across the mosfet driver.

A few problems (non midi related) I need to check gate drive voltages whilst it's running, and occasionally, both cores are using the same code and accessing the a2d at the same time.
Annoyingly both are very time critical :(
Probably need to make a thread to do the monitoring in the background and pool the results.

UK move to digital voice should be complete by 2025
I'm interested to see how far they have got.

So, if you are in the UK

If asking for directions to walk to a place was on an Internet technical forum.

"Well I wouldn't start from here"

"Catch a bus, the driver will know"

"Why do you want to go there xxx is better"

"You are using the wrong shoes, try £5000 worth of wellingtons"

"My friend once walked to somewhere else"

"Don't walk trains are better"

"Turn right before you get to the bridge"

"Never heard of xxx "

"Read the f%£%%$g map!"

Anybody know which PIO the PIPICOW uses for its WiFi.

I think its PIO0, but moving my code to PIO1 hasn't improved things.

My Google foo is low currently, and even the PICOW datasheets appear to avoid this info (could be some where the SDK or course)

Anyone know what happens to the GPIO of a Pico when software is being installed ?

I'm guessing that they go Hi Z, or all as inputs, but I can't easily test it at the moment.

The problem with the subscription model isn't you have to pay for it. Its you are tied in to using a single vendor. There is no competition. So there are no longer any reasons to be competitive.

Starting to not buy things that are only discounted by "club cards"

It's not a real discount, it forces me to give personal information, and the goods can usually be bought elsewhere for the same or better price. Borderline scam.

If people refuse to participate, the more all prices will be properly discounted.

PSA
If you have bought a 1TB or bigger flash stick from a cheap source. Don't use it.

Its likely a much lower sized stick, bodged up to report its size incorrectly

It WILL FAIL and YOU WILL LOSE DATA

So yesterday, I got to look around a paper bag manufacturer.

I asked if I could take photos, and was told that there are only dull machines down there.

Like these :)
