Today, I discovered Visitors, a Swedish synthpop duo.
My gateway is their song “This Time The Good Guys Gonna Win”.
Imagine if ABBA and Pet Shop Boys had a baby! It would be Visitors!
And even though this song came out in 1990, it sound incredibly 80s. At one time, I thought this particular sound was cheesy. But as we get further and further from the 80s, I find myself realizing that nobody makes this kind of music anymore—there’s only so many songs that sound like this.

so. in January I was in a bad car accident. fractured spine, ruptured discs, cracked pelvis, broken arm. last 4 months have been v hard. tonight though I'm going back to my adult dance class for the first time. I wasn't sure I'd ever even walk properly again so this is a moment for me. a good one

@RustyBertrand I’m on .world after having to switch last summer when the admins for instance I was on essentially got out of it. I personally haven’t had any issues with .world. Regardless, it’s lovely to see you back. I hope things go better for you
I’m nearly 60 and I love a good neighborhood-type ACE hardware store where you can go in and ask someone who works there “Bungee cords?” and he instantaneously responds with “Aisle 47.” Kickass. #TheSimpleThings
@ntnsndr The high school here is implementing a policy starting in the 2024-24 school year that would have students leaving their phones in their locker or their vehicle or at home. At least one of the K-12 school districts in the area implemented a “stashed bell to bell” type policy in the past couple years.
