Awhile back I mentioned TinyTyrant had made friends with a little boy whose family is into conspiracy theories, anti-vaxx, pro-Russia, blah, blah blah. I've held my tongue for the sake of the kids but today the kid got on the bus wearing a hat with a hate symbol. I understand the iron cross has been used by bikers & extreme sports but they also fly a confederate flag. His Gran asked if I thought he would get in trouble for it. Sweetie, you're gonna get an earful right now. Holy shit.

Deeply confused "Save the Children" freedumbers/QAnon chucklefucks marching against reality. Couldn't help myself & had to stop & ask a few questions. Hoo boy. No one there read the curriculum. The "my kids, my choice" sign is 🤣. I explained she can opt her kids out of sex ed, home school or pay for a private religion based education, that she literally had choices. She didn't like that. They enjoy creating a victimhood for themselves. Absolutely sad existence.

It's been 3 weeks since this stupid saga with my ear began. I saw the specialist on Friday for what I thought was a consultation & was rushed into surgery. They are still not confident that this will stop the swelling & now I'm sitting here bandaged up with tubes in place draining fluid. It's a mess & I'm so depressed. I should be out decorating for Halloween but I don't think it will happen this year.

Actually really pissed off at my hubs. Thought I would get some kind of support, empathy, anything. This has been almost a month of excruciating pain & I worked up until the unexpected surgery. I need time to heal but I'm up making everyone breakfast & packing lunches & he had the nerve to ask what was on my plate today because there are things we need to do. We, meaning me.
Going to need bail money.
Found a video of the surgery I had, going to show it to him, maybe then he'll understand.

Looking to others who've been diagnosed with . I was diagnosed early this year. Things had been better for awhile, than last week I woke up with a swollen ear. After several appointments & several drains of the ear I was diagnosed with polychondritis. A lot of things I have been going thru make sense now but would like to not feel so alone as I am told this is a rare autoimmune disease that was triggered by my covid infection. I'd love to hear from you.

So very tired of what whatever illness is moving thru our home. We keep testing & its negative. TinyTyrant went down first, then me, now hubs. Along with the general fatigue, nasty cold & digestive issues, I woke this morning with my ear ridiculously swollen. Looks like I had a severe allergic reaction (its not) or I have instant cauliflower ear. I literally have no folds in my one ear, just swelling. Hoping to get into the Dr tomorrow. This sucks.

Sweet cheeses, dealing with one of my vendors & following up on an order for a client. I was told 15 business days. Its been over 15 business days and this is the answer I got...Just because you ordered it on a specific date does not mean we (the vendor) put the order in on that date. WHAT? Not like medical equipment is time sensitive or important. Oof. bangs head on desk
