@skinnylatte Do you speak Vietnamese? That's awesome, I've been learning it for a while (I am technically more ethnically Vietnamese than Thai, but I can't speak it 😭 )

(And also for a long period of time in Thailand, speaking other languages was discouraged so the only person who can speak Vietnamese in my family was my grandpa (unfortunately not with me anymore))

And they lived in fear of the toothy teethed whale dolphins (Acrophyseter) who are the scariest things I've ever seen.

Miocene is one giant uncanny valley. I don't know why it doesn't get more attention for the sheer creep out factor.

What is a fediverse-neutral word for "subtweet"? People here use "subtoot", but that's based on Mastodon's "toot", which is no longer officially used.

"Subpost" doesn't sound quite right. But I guess that's it?

My original poll is here https://transfem.social/notes/9tg0q2tex9t4026s what I have realized this is closely related to a question I’ve seen asked in trans spaces before. If you had the ability to be born again, you lose all your experiences of the world as the gender (the thought experiment can be expanded to other identities not just binary genders since this is a theoretical) you were born with… you suddenly are born into the world as your current gender identity, it is respected as one you are treated no different than being cisheterosexual Would you take the chance even if it means giving up on the experience of being trans, queer? It's worth noting that this hypothetical does not mean you are unable to participate in those spaces, but you would be considered an ally. Would you sacrifice who you currently are socially to live the life you were meant to live or would you rather continue living the life you are now even if that means it’s hard and you have to fight?

@puppygirlhornypost I'm already straight so I might as well just take the cispill. I don't like my life hard and the easier it is, the less distracting it is for the things I have/want to do.

I don't know if I'd meet my boyfriend. that depends on if I will get interested in Linux (which was prompted by meeting a guy I know who studies in a boys-only school (but he introduced me to it in high school which the high school part is not boys-only)) That would probably be my biggest regret.

But I'd still choose to be born again. I'd love to have a clear place in society even if it's not roses and rainbows.

I'd be fine not participating in trans/queer spaces tbh. I don't think I will turn out homophobic or transphobic.

@puppygirlhornypost I grow them in my garden with minimum maintenance and they do really well, then again I'm in the southeast asian tropics so :P

My advice is to grow them outside when the sun's out (I assume you're from Florida based on the thingy you sent me) and take them indoors when it's winter and try to give them lights. This seems to be what tropical plant growers do in Florida

They can absorb water from the top part of their leaf, the hole thing, i forgot what they're called

@puppygirlhornypost House plants are generally not the best idea. Most house plants sold in store are pretty weak + plants are not their best self indoors (Sure some plants prefer low light but not indoor level of low light)

@teacherbuknoy I can't really see Capitano being number 10, but I wouldn't know where else he would fit into it but number 10- It wouldn't make sense either gameplay wise because we beat number 6 and 8. So I'm really confused about that-

Traveler being number 10 is somewhat plausible though. In Sumeru AQ, Paimon is acting like she has some abandonment issue and I feel like we are gonna be the one who betray her later on...
