Installed #Ubuntu 12.04 on this ThinkPad a while back, then upgraded it to 14.04. I wonder if it can go all the way through 16.04, 18.04, 20.04, 22.04 and successfully end up on 24.04...

Je suis assez déçue du comportement de Canonical (Ubuntu) et leur manière de forcer à utiliser leur propre store en rendant beaucoup plus complexe l'installation de fichiers qui devraient s'installer en un double clic (cf https://news.itsfoss.com/ubuntu-24-04-disappointment/), du coup j'essaye Linux Mint.

Alors, il y a un truc qui me dépasse avec #Ubuntu #Wayland et #libinput : Parfois, quand je boot et que je me log dans ma session, tout est nickel, le touchpad de mon Thinkpad fonctionne nickel : le touch to click, to select et to drag, Jean Passe (force à lui) et des meilleurs... Et... Parfois non, il n'enregistre plus tous les inputs, le drag et le select ne fonctionne juste plus (bref, tout ce qui est à base de double tap en somme). Incompréhensible.

I installed the PPA of LibreOffice because the Snap version is garbage. However, thankfully, the other Snaps I use aren't terrible. I will continue to vary the ways I install programs, using the best versions of each. As this is a good way to approach installing software on Ubuntu!

J'ai 280 Go d'albums, accumulés depuis des années. Au départ fichiers stockés sur disque local, puis sur Google Music Manager (c'était avant Youtube Music), puis migrés sur le Onedrive de Microsoft, et maintenant sur le kDrive d'Infomaniak.

Comment j'y accède "simplement" (le plus simplement possible en tout cas !), depuis mon ordi perso... et aussi depuis mon smartphone ?
