There’s something contradictory in the movement to #FreeTibet : the whole idea is to get rid of the oppressive Chinese government but then the plan is apparently to restore the feudal theocracy that existed there before the communist takeover.

I found the reading and also visiting the areas in question quite helpful. Meeting those who had managed to escape their homeland after years of incarceration and torture for non-violent 'crimes' against the occupying Chinese was also unforgettable.
