Back on with the Pianola restoration today. The replacement tubing arrived last week but just cleaning the keys - tiresome but it's a sunny day and I'm sat outside, listening to some piano music as I go. Clean ones on the left: #piano#playerpiano#pianola#restoration
Found the date stamped inside, February 1938. The Pianola restorer I bought the piping from guessed from the serial number 1937, so he knows his serial numbers! Also found a cosy little mouse nest under the keys. #pianola#playerpiano#piano#restoration

With all of the horrible things happening in the world, it’s nice to find the wins. Especially in the area of our environment. A group called Coral Guardian is restoring coral reefs, and it’s quite magnificent.
These photos represent 7 years of work on the Indonesia’s Hatamin Island. In this they have increased the fish population by 5x with 53k corals restored.
