Here comes a game that I’m not just playing “on the side”, but one that gets my full attention and that I’m really looking forward to: #TheOuterWorlds by #Obsidian. In the first hour, I’m very impressed by the excellent writing and even more excellent voice acting. The conversation here is so much fun. I am also enchanted by the very beautiful and unobtrusive soundtrack by Justin E. Bell. — #Gaming#ShareYourGames
I noticed that #Obsidian is barely useable with keyboard navigation on iOS/iPadOS. The UI herarchy does not translate into accessible tab navigation. The deepest reachable UI element is the vault switcher menu. There is room for improvement.
@itsfoss I was a bit disappointed with formats introduced by Logseq and Joplin, so I wanna give #TriliumNotes a try! Interface looks clean and fun to fiddle with so far. It has canvases, relations and even page blocks. Now, that should be interesting.
It is enough for me that Linux and Windows are supported. I wouldn't expect a FOSS app to have build for macOS. ;) On mobile, it seems that #Obsidian takes the lead, and I recall that it does not wrangle my files, with right settings.
Hi @kepano, I am at the point of getting the payed #Obsidian Sync but one thing holding me back is whether or not the paths/note names are obfuscated.
Notes that are e.g. named to a person are for example considered to be personal data and I cannot afford them to be breached in case the sync server gets hacked, not to mention other sensitivity that can be in note names.
I searched the #E2EE pages and using startpage, but can’t find indisputable proof. Can you/anyone help me out on this?
#Obsidian folks - is there a way to stack 2 plugins vertically in the right sidebar? I'd love to have the calendar stationed in the top right and another just below it.
I think I'm starting to get a format for the PC notes in #Obsidian. If anybody has any formatting suggestions (plug-ins, whatever) I'd be happy to hear them. I tried the multi-column plugin and it just was not working for me, so I ditched it.
Est-ce que je suis en train de dépiler mes "marque-pages" masto et que je redécouvre un p'tit toot vieux de 4 ans de @lamecarlate pour libérer son (et donc le mien) cerveau avec un script pour créer un fichier de note à la volée ?
Oui !
