I finished Kirby Triple Deluxe! It's a great Kirby game and one of the best platformers for the system. Got to 57% completion, so there would be enough to discover, but I think I'll switch to a different game now. Over half of the 30 days of 3DS challenge is now done!
Played a lot of Kirby Triple Deluxe. It's a very strong entry with some very varied leveldesign, neat little puzzles and challenging bossfights. Collectibles can be well hidden, so I missed a couple. That makes returning to the game later on more interesting though.
I'm not a completionist by any measure, but giving me a good reason to revisit a stage is always a good thing in my book.
I'll probably finish this one for my 30 days of 3DS challenge!
My latest blog post is about the Kirby amigurumi plush I made for my brother's birthday! It includes the patterns I used and some bonus Woobles pics at the end 🦁 🦊 🦖
Day 3 of my 30 days of 3DS challenge: Space Invaders Extreme is very fun. Also crushingly difficult, completely nuking me in stage 4. I doubt I'll give that one another go.
Kirby Mouse Attack is quite fun though. Might play that one more.
#POTUS#Biden spoke w/Andrés about the incident that resulted in the workers' deaths, which #NationalSecurity spox #Kirby said provoked outrage in the admin.
Styling my custom blocks in the panel was always a "I'll do better later" kind of thing, but it's so simple and straightforward that I'll be providing my editors with lots of cool new stuff now! @getkirby, keep up the screencasts! #kirby#kirbyCMS
#kirby return to dreamland deluxe had such great co-op potential before the developers decided that every action a player does outside of puff puff, suck suck, and smack smack pauses the game for a brief moment.
obtaining a new ability pauses the game for about 1.5 seconds while Kirby does their ability dance, walking into another player automatically does a kiss-health-share thing that pauses the game, flying near another player's head lands you on them which is essentially another pause.
We're talking 3 more animal buddies. Call now, and I'll throw in another protagonist absolutely free!
You got a tentacle thing that clings to ceilings and tries to float. You got an overly possessive cat that does triple jumps. You got a little green borb that.. does... things.
Every stage comes with an extra requirement to get another macguffin and a chance to say I did another Kirby.
One of my top favorite NES games that really showcases what Kirby is all about. Consuming the enemy, acquiring their power, coming up with a variety of ways to go through levels and solve the mystery of a broken Star Rod.
I like the wheel, the hammer, and the UFO. I mean they're all good except sleep. Mess around with minigames for extra lives and try to find those big switches eh?
Kriby‘s Dreamland 2 is a very nice platformer. I do not yet understand all the mechanics (what’s up with the minigame at the end of a level?) but it seems extremely well done. I notice that Nintendo originals are all very high quality whereas 3rd party games often are lacking in many ways or badly ported from other platforms. Nintendo really seems to design games for the Gameboy first. #retrogaming#nintendo#gameboy#kirby
