#PhotoMonday
Just started to upload my images of the historic auroral display from May 10-11, 2024.
Captivating, once in a lifetime experience, specially at our latitude.
This cell phone case showcases a stunning photo of Wind Point Lighthouse framed by autumn leaves. The crisp blue sky and classic architecture make it a charming gift for lighthouse and fall season enthusiasts.
By sewing the third layer of leaves so that the leaves stand upward a little, I was able to give the pillow some more shape, and it all fits together much more nicely. There are still gaps between the leaves, which I hope won't make the whole pillow too fragile. But the changed geometry definitely reduced the gaps!
Aphrodite's Phalaenopsis, Hawaii. This flower symbolizes love, happiness, and reunion. It is the national flower of Indonesia and is also known as the moth orchid.
Inner leaves of the succulent pillow - done!
there are two more layers of leaves to sew together, and then add a backing. As I add the layers and it gets more three-dimensional, the work gets more complicated!
