I'm thinking of unifying my home automation scripts. There is a wide range of stuff. From collecting info from web (e.g outside temperature, electricity-price), to indoor temperature. At the moment the scripts are mostly in bash and R.
I want your opinion on should I have the main backbone in R or python?
People are always complaining about how #TheJetsons promised flying cars, but at this point, I'd settle for the bed that helps you stand up in the morning.
I made my Itho mechanical ventilation smart with Home Assistant.
The fan speed is based on the CO2 level in the living room and bedroom. The fan speed also changes on the humidity level in the bathroom.
I made it possible to ajust the speed level manually if needed.

Today's fun project... @esphome running on an ESP32 relay board connected to an LED Light stack so I can set LED color with @homeassistant based on room CO2 levels coming from sensor also running ESPHome.
Going through and hiding all of my entities. Painful process but making it easier to use in the future. @homeassistant is looking better and better each day. #HomeAutomation
