My ID app wasn't able to ID this flowering tree's species but suggests it's likely Prunus genus. It has beautiful burgundy leaves that really set off the colors of the flower. The ones I see are very bush-like rather than small tree.
Our other clematis vine is doing well & blooming like crazy. Didn’t even notice the caterpillar till I was looking at the photos later. Everything in the #garden does great here until about June when the blast furnace heat arrives.
