Blue is the color closest to my soul. In the ages of 0-4 my mom took me to the beach every single day and I learned to associate blue with calm and freedom. Only later in life I learned blue is seen as sad by some, something I fully reject. Blue isn't sad - it's just low energy euphoria. It's calm, entrancing, mysterious and pure. I took this photo at night in a London part at fall.

Abell 31/SH2-290 is a very large, but faint planetary nebula in the constellation Cancer. I knew I was in for a challenge when I took my first 10 minute sub of this object and could barely make it out. I gathered 30 hours of exposure time, but it could use a great deal more to help control the noise with the extensive stretching needed.
I've finished the massive blanket for my colleague, I don't have e anywhere I can take a decent photo of it, so here is a still I grabbed from the "unrolling" video. I am very happy with this blanket, and hopefully, my colleague will be too!
They all had something to do, and each valued the contributions of the others.
And because they were friends, they listened as much as they spoke, and even if they disagreed on issues, it didn't stop them from working together toward the common goal of moving that boat forward and enjoying the day.
