What I want:
Mr. Maybe and Dr. Don't is a non-traditional MG fantasy, with swords and magic and unusual woodland magical critters that need some art design. Whimsical without being farcical.

One anti-pattern that likely influenced the shift in how design patterns have been understood over the last 30 years is "that which is easy to test (especially with multiple choice questions) is what tends to get taught". :(

Yes, but my rich husband (err, day job) subsidizes the publication costs. What remains is the vig the distributor charges for putting the book on your phone.
