We are so close to our 600 follower target on Twitch.
We don't expect blind follows but if this sounds like something you'd enjoy, I'd love it if you could check out our videos and see if it's something you'd like to keep up with 😍❤️
It appears the game developer mentioned in my recent YouTube video is delighted to have their game featured and has generously offered me a key to celebrate its v1.0 release.
I'm excited to give it away, but I'm still figuring out the details. Stay tuned for updates on how you can win!
There will be many anomalous zones on this planet, one of which is magnetic. Some stones will levitate in such areas. It will be possible to extract a special ore from them
In our mid-disc break it's very likely that we're going to head into #Discworld II for our Retro Sunday night streams. But is there something in here you'd like us to move on to after?
Finally finished Dust: An Elysian Tail. Took me an eternity and a half to finish it, but I savored every moment of it like a fine wine. This will probably go down as one of my all time fave Metroidvanias to play!
#RetroGaming#Event#idea: pop-up #arcade, where people bring a cheap LAN party rig and a pair of controllers and then people can go around from table to table and play whatever game they brought. There could be a theme for the night (8-bit, female protagonist, Japanese dating sim, etc) and prizes for the games that fit it best. Event space could be indoor or outdoor (using laptops and projectors for screens)
One of the PS2's greatest fighters. Hefty, robust gameplay, with a massive roster and a fun story. Bonus Devil Within game is a load of toss though, and the final boss is the franchise's cheatiest yet.
the surest sign someone has successfully stayed away from entertainment communities is when they describe a massive hit as a "hidden gem", e.g. read a comment calling Witcher 3 a hidden gem 😅
i sometimes wish i was better at being like that so i could talk about games more at ease
but i know just enough about how the sausage is made so i can't
Retro video games, played on original PS One hardware. A welcoming and inclusive chat community. Anonymity for those with social anxiety. Full nostalgia 😍❤️
You probably don't know it, but it's basically electronic music for metalheads. Perturbator & Carpenter Brut play at Metal festivals. I can say it's also clear from the public at their concerts.
Originally, it grew from synthwave, but is much darker.
I'd say it's best described as being the sort of OST you'd imagine in a retrofuturistic thriller movie from the 80ies that would be set far in the future.
