Super Neuigkeiten!
»Next to us was a man selling some #vegetables. A woman approached yet she was hesitant. In our culture, people buy vegetables and fruit in kilos. But the woman took one #tomato and asked him to weigh it and tell her the price. Then she added another tomato and did the same. After telling her the price, she opened the small #money carrier she had and looked at what she had inside. Then she said that she will take one tomato only.«
This caterpillar has been eating our tomatoes and evading detection, until now. Completely paralyzed, it appears to have been taken over by parasitic wasp larvae. Easy to spot.
Tomato Kasundi is on my mind. Thank you Ganga in Australia. We made seven quarts this morning. It’s tasty right now and will get tastier. We will see how well it ages in the fridge with the vinegar and the mustard spice. The tomatoes are very happy to be introduced to their new friends. #growyourown, #minnesota, #nodig, #tomato, #kasundi
For dinner today we had a home made tomato artichoke salad with onions, basil and mint. Except for the artichokes all other ingredients are from our garden. #vegan#salad#healthyeating#tomato#govegan
oooh, des dosas (grandes crêpes indiennes) à la tomate, qui sont préparables dans la demie journée (sinon c'est 24h de fermentation pour les autres recettes) !
We had such a horrible summer. Record heat & drought. My #garden did horribly. Had string beans early on; replanted, but in such heat, they didn't even germinate 😥 Jalapenos still going strong. Nothing else did well. 😪Still in severe drought, but temps now very nice. Dipped down to just 32F one night, but no damage done. #Tomato plants looking so nice, now; just a joy to see. Flowers all over. Some baby fruits. Will see what happens. (If we don't get a freeze) 🤞🤞🤞🍅🍅
