The hydroponics continue!

The same slow-growing lisianthus as always, new chive sprouts, asarina seeds, yellow mini tomato (been going a while), Chilean glory vine seeds, mixed seeds (sunflower and ageratum), mixed seeds (saponaria and sunflower), peony poppy, gazania. All in a nine-place Click & Grow hydroponic unit. There is an orchid plant in front of the unit and a drosera plant (sundew) behind.

I figured out a trick for the tomato seeds:

The planting instructions on the packet said to cover with 1/4” soil, which I usually ignore for pods with variable success. Turns out you can rip a small section of the pod media off of a corner to create a cover for the seeds. Did it with something else earlier, so I’m two for two on improved sprouting. Woot!
