For my second cup of coffee this morning I accidentally made homemade ice cream. Idk why it tastes like that but it definitely does. It's a vanilla maple bourbon latte. I think it's probably all pulled together by the sweetie fruits and milk chocolates of the natural process El Salvador coffee used.
@coffeegeek@coffee The Pulsar is my go-to brewer since I got it. If I had to describe the coffee it makes with one word it would be "balanced". I like the convenience of the shower screen coupled with almost endless possibilities. I'm still struggling with brews +20g, but for up to 350ml it has become my absolute favorite.
FYI: you can reuse the original filters as they are made of thicker paper and can be rinsed easily. I've noticed no differences so far.
I’m looking for a good specialty decaf coffee. I know it’s hard to find good decaf and it will never really be as good as regular, but I get the urge for a hot drink and to practice latte art at about 10:00pm far too frequently, but I don’t want to destroy my body by having every more caffeine than I already consume so late in the day. Anyone have any good recommendations? I ordered some from a local roaster I’m excited to try but I also like to try lots of different coffees. #SpecialtyCoffee
No one (in the big voices of #specialtycoffee) is talking about the Wilfa Uniform #coffeegrinder being brought into the USA by Lardera.
But I have to say, after testing over a dozen new grinders this year, the Uniform remains a) the best pour over grinder I've tested in last 12 months and b) top three espresso grinders in same period. I just wish it wasn't so darned slow.

@ArtPhotosDesk I am a commercial products photographer as well as someone involved in the #specialtycoffee scene, and I do like that I can showcase my more creative work here, on top of the usual product photography.
The feedback on posted photos is really active too, I love that.
That said, I would like to see #mastodon improve how photographs can be displayed here, including layout choices and posting more than 4 photos max per post.
More and more companies, brands, and folks are taking the same stand we did, and walking away from the Tweeter.
I only wish more of #coffeetwitter did this; I tried my best to convince a lot of journos, influencers, charities and non-profits in #specialtycoffee to join us here. Not many have come so far.

I’m currently running and on my own personal Calckey instance. I love open source and Linux but I’m not a super diehard I guess. I’m a designer at Thunderbird and do some front-end development there too. I love icons, especially tiny ones. I don’t really have a theme I post about so I’ll warn you upfront and apologize in advance if you follow me to only hear about Thunderbird as that’s probably not the majority of my posts around here 😅
