I updated my profile pic yesterday and gave credit in my bio, but thought I’d mention here as well - this pixelated avatar is from the fine folks at @Iconfactory. It was a bonus perk for contributing to #ProjectTapestry. I’m very pleased with how it turned out, especially considering the subject matter they had to work with. Maybe @gedeonm had something to do with it?
Anyway, I can’t wait for an early Beta and I’m thrilled with the new Avatar. Thanks.
Hi tapestry-team, I really like these pixel avatar photos. Unfortunately I missed the opportunity on Kickstarter - is there a new chance to get my own pixel avatar? Gladly by one-time purchase.. #PixelPortrait#ProjectTapestry
Best regards
Jörg
Pixel portraits for Project Tapestry keep coming off the assembly line. If you purchased a portrait, hang in there - these pixels don't push themselves! #ProjectTapestry#Icons#pixelart
Good news for Project Tapestry backers - we started sending out Wallaroo annual subscription codes yesterday for backers at the Linen level and above. If you backed at those levels and haven’t gotten an email yet, check your spam folder!
Additionally, if you've had problems receiving the code, try again! We were experiencing an issue with the system to distribute the codes initially but we believe it's been resolved. Thanks for your patience!
Yay! My #WallarooApp access from backing #ProjectTapestry by @Iconfactory is set up. Enjoying the Stargazer theming right off the bat, but looking forward to swapping out for other themes once in a while.
We may have wrapped up the funding portion of Project Tapestry, but the real work is just beginning. We offer our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make it a reality and are excited for what's next. https://blog.iconfactory.com/2024/03/time-to-get-started/
This is it! Only 3 hours left in the Project Tapestry Kickstarter. Our campaign to weave together a unified, chronological timeline of your favorite blogs, social media, and more has been funded, hit its first stretch goal, and is nearly at stretch goal 2 to add filtering, search, and bookmarking to the app. Now is the time to help us get over that line - spread the word!
From the get-go I wasn’t sure #ProjectTapestry would get funded let alone reach a stretch goal, yet here we are all thanks to you. There’s so much work to do in the weeks and months ahead but I’m personally grateful and humbled we get to do it. Nothing was certain to say the least, but we’re all anxious to get started in earnest. Stay tuned for more in the days ahead. There are plans to make, pixel avatars to draw and so much more! 😄
With a little more than a day left, we're literally down to the wire to raise funding for our Project Tapestry Kickstarter. The first stretch goal is within reach but we can't do it without your help.
Custom avatar slots are still available as a project add-on or you can help by boosting or writing about or linking to Project Tapestry one last time. Thank you!
Our friends at @Iconfactory are less than $1,000 from reaching their first stretch goal in the final day of their #kickstarter! Boost and share and let’s push them over the line today to get the next great #indiedev app built!
The Kickstarter for Project Tapestry is nearing its end — 50 hours to go — and it’s approaching its first stretch goal. It’s going to be a very cool app, but it’ll be even cooler if we hit that goal! Please take a look and consider supporting this one if you haven’t already.
Since @gedeonm was nice enough to share the recipe he found for deceptively simple potato chips, I gotta share these Brussels sprouts I made tonight in the air fryer while I listened to him talk #ProjectTapestry on @crossed. Some really interesting stuff in here about the idea for the project and how they work as a small team.
(Pro tip for the sprouts: ditch the salt, pepper and garlic and do everything bagel seasoning)
Only 5 days left in the Project Tapestry Kickstarter, and that means it’s your last chance to get your very own Pixel Portrait! Add this item to your pledge, and one of the Iconfactory artists will create a hand-clicked pixel portrait of you. The first batch of these sold out in a day, and there are fewer than 100 left, so head to the Project Tapestry Kickstarter page for more info.
Beyond the Kickstarter though, James asked a lot of great questions about what it takes to design and develop modern apps and he really made me think long and hard about how to answer. If you are curious about what goes into designing successful apps please be sure to check it out. Thanks again, James!
@jsbilsbrough is joined once again by @gedeonm from @Iconfactory. This time we're talking the #ProjectTapestry KickStarter, designing apps, as well as random diversions to Star Trek, Stargate, AI, and of course some good old Apple talk!
We’re in the home stretch for Project Tapestry, so we’ve decided to sweeten the deal. Starting today there’s a new add-on available to all backers: Pixel Portraits! Add this item to your pledge, and one of the Iconfactory artists will create a hand-clicked pixel portrait of you, suitable for use as a social media avatar or whatever else you can think of. Head to the Kickstarter page for more info. Limited spots available, so don’t delay!
We set a 200 slot limit on these pixel-clicked portraits for #ProjectTapestry. We may do a second round because they are almost all sold out already(!!) If you want one at the $60 round 1 level go get it now. Don’t wait. There’s only 40 slots left.
