I can't even login to #Google. After entering my password, the tab just stops working. It stops interacting. No clicks, no tabbing, no arrow cursor.
I can't event open about:support it hangs.
I can't use #Facebook, eventually the tab will stop interacting. No clicks, no tabbing, no arrow cursor.
I can't watch videos on #YouTube. If the YT ads play first, it will get stuck there. If the actual video plays first, after a few seconds it will either get stuck at some frame, or just keep playing without any interaction (can't stop, etc.)
"You all look alike" may not be politically correct but let's admit it, it's kinda true, especially in the East Asian region. In this video everyone had a challenging time telling which country they belong to. It is sort of like, how do you tell an Italian from A German or Frenchman?
Ps: Their Korean rocks! Wish I could speak it so well.

Russia on March 28 vetoed the annual renewal of the panel of experts monitoring U.N. sanctions against North Korea over its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
Fascinating (but sad) to watch a slow motion mass casualty event in play in #South#Korea at the World Scout Jamboree. A local television station set up and has been livestreaming, and you see a constant parade of ambulances. The US and UK have already retreated and withdrawn from the event. Already 700+ people treated for heat illness when I checked last night. #heatwave#MCIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEtWRoekNOA
North Korea has been shaping up as Russia's leading weapons supplier, reportedly providing Moscow with extensive military packages, including ballistic missiles and over 3 million artillery shells.
순대 (soondae/sundae/sunde) is a type of Korean food made from innards and blood. The number one trigger for people with gout.
Here in the #Philippines we have something similar called #Dinuguan. A local food made from innards and blood.
So, similarly, when you visit the Philippines, avoid dinuguan if you have gout. If you still want to enjoy your vacation. 😋
As someone with gout, you need to be aware that #blood as food, and innards, is very common in many countries and cultures. Always ask, don't eat anything just because you don't want to be rude. Your #health and #fitness should be your number one concern.
Here in the Philippines, people will understand if you refuse. No one, let me repeat, no one, will take offence. We perfectly understand.
But if we do laugh because you refused, you should not take offence either. It's a friendly laugh, nothing else. We also laugh at each other if we don't like the taste of a certain food from a different region. Filipinos are just a happy bunch of diverse people.
Omg don't get me started with the 101 ways we call aunt and uncle in Hokkien. I could NEVER remember which one to use.
Aunt: Tua Ee, (insert number) ee, a-Kim, etc
Uncle: A-pek, a-tiao, kuku, a-chek etc
What we call them depends on whether they belong to the paternal or maternal side, and also by their seniority in the family. (for eg eldest to youngest).
I’ve been a casual amateur observer of North Korean politics for a long time and
(Also why tankies annoy me, with their utter lack of understanding of North Korea)
Something that I don’t think gets talked about enough is how racial purity is such a big deal that while North Korea used to welcome defectors who think they have a better society, they also KIDNAP foreigners from elsewhere to be their spouses
Russia’s isolated war-criminal president is cultivating North Korea and Iran. But more dispiriting are the Putin-fanciers in South Africa and Slovakia, writes Simon Tisdall
It's interesting being in #Korea. It's been a while since I've been somewhere that I understand exactly 0% of the #language, and have zero ability to work out anything at all. I stare at signs and menus, and think, “Nope. Nothing. Nada.” 😆
Put me in Italy (I don't speak Italian), and I could manage to work things out. Stick me down in Russia, and with my crappy Bulgarian, I could make a few decent inferences. In the wilds of Japan, I could pick out a few Kanji, and get the gist. But here? 🤷♀️
As an #Asian myself, I'm happy to see that ideas, developers, and software from #Japan are going mainstream. There are a lot of things the West, and the world for that matter, can learn from Japan.
Not only from the Japanese, to be exact, even from #Korean made software. I talked about last year how #Korea created its own Internet culture that not even #Google and #Microsoft can compete with. (See: #Naver's amazing interconnected platforms; what Google would have been if they had a vision.)
In Korea, a gas leak at a gas station was mistaken for fog: the mistake turned out to be deadly
Only miraculously, an unusual emergency in the Changpyeongri area, the city of Yeonpyeong-Myeon, resulted in no deaths. Local authorities reported five casualties. Two witnesses suffered serious burns.
