At best, you seem to be missing the point. But if you want to get technical...
The constraints facing the mind are so far from what a human could possibly achieve in their lifetime that the mind is, in all practical sense, limitless. Our finite lifespans are the binding constraint and we are capable of limitless growth within our minds within that time. Now that we are technically accurate, back to the point.
In the fluid world of business, staying ahead means embracing continuous learning. Entrepreneurs can leverage platforms like Coursera & MasterClass for cutting-edge knowledge. Bite-sized podcasts or audiobooks on Blinkist offer wisdom on-the-go—a key for agile decision-makers.
Prison abolition means killing the cop in your head, and not policing the people around you.
Growth mindset means giving people opportunities to grow. It means seeking rehabilitation rather than punitive/retributive justice.
Drawing boundaries means defining limits for yourself — not for other people. Boundaries are for your actions, not for demanding what others will and won't do.
Compassion means giving people space to grow or not. Protecting yourself doesn't mean attacking. Let the facts speak for themselves.
If you highlight only some facts and not others, you're either unaware of a gap in your understanding — or actively creating bias. Misrepresentation and bias can come from omission as well as from saying things that aren't true.

I gotta say, I'm really disappointed in stux and the universeodon admin
when I first joined mastodon, I was amazed that we could have a community that would take a bottom up approach to removing bigotry. this was the first platform that I could be on and know that I wouldn't be bombarded by hate
the system of distributed instances that all need to keep their acts clean lest they be defederated, has created an open environment that should not tolerate questionable content.
basically, if you want to present your content to the rest of the fediverse, you need your content to be presentable
I'm frankly disappointed that on the fedi I'm being told by cis, white, middle to upper class, men that the moderation is too strong. this is supposed to be a community where we can all feel safe and comfortable to be social. this is not the place for free speech absolutism or some fantasy of an online wild west, and I think any admin who wants that should be defederated full stop.
the whole point of this damn platform was to remove centralization and curate a comfortable environment. if a person here really wants a monolithic platform with virtually no moderation, they can go back to the birdsite.

or, apparently, as #Fediverse stakeholders with a #GrowthMindset, they can sell out as Vichy lapdogs for #Facebook under cover of an #NDA :ablobcatwave:
Sometimes journalists, newspapers, “influencers,” scientists, politicians & the rest of us get things wrong. But instead of acknowledging our mistakes, too often, pride or social norms get in the way of saying so.
But it’s good to change our minds when we have new evidence or a new perspective or experience that shapes our perceptions.
That’s how we learn. How we grow. And talking about it should be normalized. The expectation rather than the exception.
@Sheril Admitting our mistakes and being open to changing our minds is a sign of intellectual honesty and growth. It's essential for individuals from all walks of life, be it journalists, influencers, scientists, or politicians, to normalize and encourage discussions around evolving perspectives based on new evidence. Embracing a culture of continuous learning benefits us all. #GrowthMindset#EmbracingChange
