Why yes I am having a great time. I’ve had many memorable moments, made new friends and met some interesting people along the way. However the Pyramids of Giza was a particular highlight for me. One of my favourite photos I’ve taken on this trip is this one whilst riding a camel. I have no idea how it turned out like this. #Travel#Egypt#Giza

A fantastic aerial photo of the #Giza plateau: the #pyramids are not nearly as remote as many people think. Nowadays they are flanked on three sides by the roads and neighborhoods of Giza, one of #Egypt's largest cities.
I'm a sucker for historic photographs of ancient #Egyptian monuments, therefore for #AncientSiteSaturday the Sphinx and the Pyramids of #Giza, photographed by Maxime du Camp in 1849. The chest area of the Sphinx had only recently been uncovered, previously the statue was covered with sand up to the shoulders.
The top listening cities have changed. For "If I'm A Felon" it was mostly #Cairo and #Giza. For "Shine On" it's #Brighton and #Kilmarnock. The #UK has entered the chat and now I need to look at a map to find Kilmarnock. (It's in Scotland!)
