The New York Times chose to give space for this Putin puppet and authoritarian to voice is noxious propaganda without the--if I may use the word in its proper context--balance of actual reporting. For shame.

@CartyBoston @jeffjarvis. I had this experience with the #WashingtonPost, getting increasingly annoyed and yet unable to cut the cord. #GeorgeWill helped push me over the edge. I still do miss some of their coverage (their articles on assisted living, for example, were very informative) but all in all, I'm not looking back. You'll know when you've had enough!

WaPo/George Will: 'Why we need to fire the first Asian-African American woman Vice President and former U.S Senator and California Attorney General because as an old conservative white guy, I’m grasping at straws.'

Holy crap, what a take.

@TonyStark
🥥 Why is it that whenever Eye see the name "George F.Will," I smell a powerful odor of privilege, condescension, and mendacity.
Eye think that's a line from a Tennessee Williams play, originally spoken by Big Daddy. 🥥

Anyone else thinking of unsubscribing to the #WashingtonPost after today's opinion piece by #GeorgeWill ( I won't use a gift article for this poison) titled "A Constitution-flouting ‘authoritarian’ is already in the White House"? Yes, that's right. He is equating #Biden with #Trump. So many #media outlets, as @donmoyn and @jayrosen_nyu so brilliantly explain, are failing us.

Only #GeorgeWill & his ilk would find a way to include this hateful #transphobic remark in a column (seemingly) about #Biden's chances for reelection. This, for lack of a better word, cruel comment seems so beside the point, but I wonder if it really is the point and and all the rest of it is cover. "Democrats are uncomfortably connected to campuses, where there is one permissible ideology (progressiveness), many genders and even more pronouns."

Look at these headlines on The Times' home page and the narrative they promote:

@MaryAliciaZiff @jeffjarvis. This "reporting" from the news arm of the #WashingtonPost goes hand in glove with today's hateful opinion piece by #GeorgeWill, which includes this #transphobic aside or maybe, as I speculated earlier, this is the point of the piece and the rest is cover. "Democrats are uncomfortably connected to campuses, where there is one permissible ideology (progressiveness), many genders and even more pronouns." https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/11/08/biden-polling-democrat-divorce/ (gifted)
