However I do have an interesting fact about #Frogger
When Gremlin registered for the Frogger copyright in the US, they submitted a printout of the code and claimed the original publishing date of January 12, 1981.
The game did not come out until August in Japan, September in the US. So it was supposedly complete for a long time.
What's interesting about this is it potentially shows how quick of a turnaround the Konami engineers had on the Pac-Man concept.
Scramble's scrolling levels might, likewise, be inspired by Defender, though the timing window is very tight.
There's almost a practical simplicity of an ornamental disposition in this Frogger rendition for the ZX Spectrum by Rabbit Software (1983). It wouldn't look out of place hanging next to Matisse.
