Saying goodbye ... I really don't like saying goodbye.
But only now when I'm leaving I see how amazing some people, whom I got the privilege to work with and learn from, are.
Closing one chapter and starting a new one is terrifying and exciting at the same time.
Things we leave behind stay with us forever wether we like it or not.
Eugene the bear wants to make friends, but each time an animal approaches he becomes tongue-tied, gets a lump in his throat, looks this way and that way, and just wants to hide! One by one, animals try to befriend Eugene, but it’s always the same.

I'm not hacked lol ❤️ Boosts are appreciated though ❤️ A social app called We3 (on Google Play) is the best to make adult friends, locally or abroad. It asks members over 150 Qs and matches *like-minded people based on values (social, political, etc), plus, personal and community interests, in groups of three. SMART!! I met great folks through it--two I go out with. It t could use more members. Seriously, the matching concept is the best!
Eating: it's such a pleasure. And a privilege, considering how too many don't get enough. And yet we tend to treat eating as a chore, something to just get done at the office desk, or over the sink. It shouldn't take that much horse sense to recognize that eating is something to savor, and enjoy.
I don’t often post personal posts … I let my #cats#dogs#photography do the talking. Tonight I sent texts to my closest friends saying how much I valued their friendship… we are #scottish and don’t normally hug let alone be #soppy. Yep it’s a thing 🙈. But, so much love back! Everyone saying the same thing … we take #friendship for granted. If you do one thing tonight #connect and let people know you feel…. #love 🥰
I haven't read a lot of #books in my life. It was always hard for me to get the motivation, but the last 4 years, because of my depression, it was often impossible.
But now I'm able to read again, and want to read up on some important issues.
Here are some of my favorite books I read so far:
📖 #Platonic by #MarisaGFranco.
It's a great book about the importance of #friendship and how to get and maintain one. It helped me learn a lot about myself and is a big part of how I started getting out of my depression.
📖 "War das jetzt rassistisch? 22 Antirassismus-Tipps für den Alltag" written by the people behind the #BlackVoices referendum.
A book about #racism in Austria and Germany.
Some books I have at home, that are just waiting for me to read are:
I'd love to read other works like "Ace" but themed around other #queer identities.
Another issue that interest me is e.g. #ableism (especially, but not limited to psychological disability).
But feel free to also recommend great books on other issues.
I can only read German and English, so please keep that in mind.
