It is not exactly surprising that the one artist that was doing the pause entertainment on #Eurovision that also is a member of a Christian sect had a meltdown in media today talking about how "Eurovision is going PC crazy by not supporting Israel". Most people I have met from white Christian sects are exceptionally racist and wholly subscribe to the need of Jews wiping out all other people in the area so that the end of the world can happen in the name of Jesus.
Dutch NPO Radio 2 playlist in the hour leading to #Eurovision final yesterday... and the system failed to catch one more #Europapa airing which got mixed with the 20:51 one 😂
BTW the "lange versie" is simply one with custom intro containing station ID.
Guardian reports #Eurovision lost almost a quarter of viewership in the UK this year compared to last. But note last year's show was organized in Liverpool, by the BBC.
Anyway, I'd love to see viewing figures in other countries as well; this should help prove the theory that #Israel got more points from the public thanks to other people boycotting it 🙃
#Israel was the #1 choice for people in 14 different countries?!! Bullshit, that has to be manufactured by troll armies & VPNs because there was nothing special about that song or performance.
@jess EU #Eurovision fans can avoid withdrawal by joining the #EuropeanElections fandom. 26 days to go, 27 countries, lots of far-right villains to defeat, 6 to 9 of June you get to give 0 points to fash trash, and LOADS of #eurodrama
Whoa, our #Eurovision commentator, who, as you may be aware, had been on air until around 1am, is back live, hosting another music talent show from 3:15pm 😮
This isn't the first time when I woke up with a #Eurovision tune stuck in my head the day after the event, but it is the first time the tune stuck in my head was banned from the finals. #EuroPaPa
Eden Golan displayed incredible bravery, singing her song flawlessly despite being surrounded by a sea of hate. She dedicated her participation to the hostages.
The EBU apparently didn’t allow the Israeli presenter to wear a yellow ribbon pin. Because reminding the world of the hostages, not just Israeli but of many nationalities, is “political.” Just like mourning the massacre at a music festival is “political,” so the original Israeli song lyrics were disqualified. The world is working hard and actively to promote a collective amnesia of the 7 October pogrom. It has been 219 days. #BringThemHome#BringThemHomeNow#Israel#Eurovision
With their song "Teresa & Maria," Ukraine's Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil received a total of 453 points, securing a third place in the Eurovision finals in Sweden's Malmo overnight on May 12.
"Eden Golan faces mixed reactions performing 'Hurricane' at Eurovision, referencing the October 7 massacre, amid cheers and boos, she remains composed."
"Facing intense hostility at Eurovision, Eden Golan's every instinct might have been to turn and run. Instead she soared, and set an example many Israelis may have to emulate in the months ahead"
