The EBU apparently didn’t allow the Israeli presenter to wear a yellow ribbon pin. Because reminding the world of the hostages, not just Israeli but of many nationalities, is “political.” Just like mourning the massacre at a music festival is “political,” so the original Israeli song lyrics were disqualified. @littlemiao I would be careful to heroicize Eden with her past views on topics given her past motivations in addition to her harassment of other EuroVision performers protesting the genocide being committed by the Israeli state.
Dedicating participation to the hostages is a noble cause and I sympathize with the recent loss of a hostage who was murdered by the Israeli military in an airstrike.

She was harassing all the other performers by Jewing (sorry, "Zionisting") up the place. They may get PTSD every time they perform from now on and it's all her fault. /that was sarc
@littlemiao at least we can't complain it's all about suppressing Palestine and favouring Israel; the EBU treated symbols related to both sides equally 🙃
