Fiesty Peacock, ink painting. Interesting fact, the feathers of a peacock possess microscopic crystal-like structures, which reflect different wavelengths of lights depending on their spacing. These crystal-like structures are what create the fluorescent colors of the bird.
"Sailing at Sunset" is my latest #artwork with a three dimensional quilted effect. (Not a real quilt but can be purchased on many products including prints.) This is my second image with a sailing theme.
New piece finished this morning titled '1920s Flower Picking', limited background color elements with emphasis on foreground flowers :)

Blue Butterfly, watercolor. This butterfly is one of three in my gallery. In addition, I offer all three of the butterflies in one vertical image. Pretty wall art for the butterfly or colorful insect lover.
It's #Caturday again! I originally did this artwork with a watercolor background but I revamped it by stripping out the background and deepening the color. The art is based on a photo I took of a kitty down by the beach.
Hackberry Emperor and Huisache Daisy Wildflowers by Debra Martz
Spring rains brought many wildflowers along the edges of the hiking trails at the South Llano River State Park in Texas. Apr 25, 2019
I can't say that turnips are the first thing that jump out at me while shopping, but I do like the way they taste. I mostly use them in the fall and winter when making a roast. I do think that, if you take time to look at the vegetable, it is really quite beautiful.
