Is Steamdb's tags page relatively comprehensive for the tags used across Steam?
If so I'm kind of surprised that Grindy isn't a tag on there. I'd like that to filter out those games, and those that love them could more easily find'em. Win-win!
While you can already use the @pixelfed API to syndicate to your Pixelfed account from your own blog
Wouldn't it be cool if you could syndicate from Pixelfed to your own server or even 3rd party service using webhooks and param placeholders so you can build the perfect webhook (example.org/api/webhook?caption=$caption&image_url=$mediaUrl) where $caption and $mediaUrl are populated by the backend
This is something I will pursue if there is interest!
#askFedi#fediHelp Is the following pattern known and does it have a name?
I have a number of classes (call them C1, C2, etc) that all derive from the same class B. I have a superclass (template, actually) D that derives from C1, C2 etc. To have a single B, the standard solution is to go with virtual inheritance to close the diamond (so far, so good).
I've honestly never seen this pattern used or documented before, but I'm not exceedingly familiar with the literature, and I don't know how to look for it. Since I've been asked «is this novel?», I'd like to be able to say something more than «to the best of my knowledge, it is».
Recording and editing yoga offerings for online yoga classes. I am struggling with the level of vulnerability required to put oneself out there on the internet. Exposing my soft underbelly to the world, literally and figuratively, is something that I am still reckoning with. Being a body online is harsh.
Advice? Tips? Words of wisdom? Mantras for intestinal fortitude?
My audio VM works generally well (even great) except for one problem: #Ableton Live doesn't see the content in #VirtualBox shared folders.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve this? Note that the guest OS (win) can access normally everything in the shared folders, and it's only Live that doesn't (without errors or anything).
I probably need an alt where I can (respectfully) gripe about all the nonsense.
Trying my best to reign it (or at least lie to myself about feeling positive) on Fosstodon results in not saying much at all... Of course my apologies to the 2 people worldwide who actually read before ;)
(please boost!) - I would like to buy a flat, key-sized, USB-C flash drive. Does anyone know a flash drive manufacturer making USB-C drives with the same form factor as this (pictured) style of Yubikey? #AskFedi#askmastodon
Is there a way to turn my post archive from #mastodon (file type JSON) into a text format where I can easily locate and copypaste single posts? #askfedi#fedihelp
Fediverse, I am once again calling upon your techie powers! 💾 :server: :pentagram:
I'm looking for a mobile app (preferably for both Android and iOS) that allows me to create music playlists and download them for offline listening from a (FRITZ!)NAS full of MP3s, e. g. for car rides.
Doesn't have to be free, just no subscription model, please. All apps I've found so far can stream, but not download. Is there something out there I may have missed?
Ich suche so eine Art "Reiserouter" und bräuchte mal eure #Followerpower, ob ihr mit so etwas Erfahrung habt bzw. ob es so etwas überhaupt gibt.
Was ist gesucht:

Friends. I’m going to migrate my videos from one PeerTube instance to another. I’d love any advice or tips from folks who have experienced this already. Boosts help even if you don’t have advice (that way others may find this, too). Thanks in advance.
