I'm a sucker for art books, so here's some stuff I've picked up lately: various Magic: The Gathering art books and a couple of graphic novels. While I've not gone through each book the whole way through, I'd still like to share some initial thoughts on each.
Do you sell artbooks in the Steam of your games, can you give an example?
At first, I thought that the electronic version of the artbook of the game would be sold for little money, $1-3 for Steam. But now I'm thinking, maybe it should be for free...
Early birthday present from my family.
(my birthday is the 23rd. Got express shipping to make sure it delivered to my door)
So excited to look at beautiful robots.
Robots 1:2 is a photography book of the collection at Vitra Design Museum.
Picured is the first and last robot in the book (details in alt text). I've always been interested in these early tin robots
The Electric State by Simon Stålenhag is sort of an art book and a sci-fi narrative/(fantasy)American roadtrip.
Haven't read anything by him yet, but I fell in love with the illustrations. So excited to explore his world
Third is Anime Arcitecture - Imagined Worlds and Endless Megacities by Stefan Riekeles (more in next post)
I really tried with the alt text but am kinda guessing a lot
Oh wow 🤩 #VinylMoon have really outdone themselves with this month's #record! Their releases are each a work of art themselves, partnering with artists to create unique jackets and other included items or artifacts along with a beautifully crafted colored record.
This month they worked with aerial #photographer Bernard Lang and included an entire #ArtBook! 🤩 I'm going to make some tea and put this on for a listen while I flip through these photos :comfytea:
(photos to follow)
We finally released a digital free artbook as DLC. After launching the game, the artbook is downloaded to the game folder Erra: Exordium, so look for the pdf there

The #naturalist in me: Forest hike cancelled, too much storm.
The #gardener in me: Work cancelled at only 7 °C.
The #artist in me: Plants hand-dyed cotton gauze and colourful silk ribbons into compost soil to breed new colours. 🤭
The #lazybones in me: Rummages around in the studio to find ideas.
Fortunately, I am many! 😂

My girlfriend recently gave me the Akira Toriyama Dragon Quest Illustrations book from Japan as a birthday gift and it's awesome.
I love the way the watercolor (or perhaps ink? Can never tell...) illustrations look for the monster and character concept illustrations. Highly recommend this book for any artist out there who happens to also like RPGs.
What an incredible piece of art ! This book will delight flower lovers and artists alike. I am in love with all these beautiful flowers. So many details and colors ! This book is visually captivating and an interesting guide of common meadow and garden plants and flowers.
Volume 3 is LIVE! Visions And Voice Of The Sea is a beautiful collection of beach and ocean artwork with poetry and haiku. Perfect gift idea! Or spoil yourself...You are worth it! 🙂
