I've started a rewatch of #theuntamed and am noticing some stuff I didn't before. (I had NO idea what was going on the first time thru.) Lan Wangji likes Wei Wuxian more than everyone thinks. Jin Zixuan seems to actually like Jiang Yanli, but just like LWJ he can't bring himself to express his feelings. MianMian seems to be the one stirring everything up, yet WWX blames JZX instead of her (I don't think he realized she was being catty.) And Xue Yang's related to the OG yin iron guy? #cql#cdrama
Tonight I'm feeling awful for #weiwuxian because he's not given the chance to grieve the loss of his home and the loss of the people who raised him and who knew his parents. Jiang Cheng and Yanli get to fall to bits, but it's on him to get them out and take care of them.
And also that one kid who never gets to make a good shot. Except this series would be a lot shorter if he'd managed it.
The one thing that's bothering me is after WWX gives up his core, is he's still able to jump up and down off roofs, and occasionally dodge an attack, but then gets pushed right to the ground whenever he's touched. The tiger seal shouldn't be the reason for that, so what's the deal? Are his legs naturally that strong? (I'm dubious.)
I'm also sad we never get to see Jiang Fengmian shoot off any arrows, because he sounds like a superb archer!
