« reassured » US officials about its ability to remotely disable the EUV machines in Taiwan when the Dutch government met with the company on the threat.

The Netherlands has run simulations on a possible invasion in order to better assess the risks, they added.

Recent Dutch laws to tax share buybacks and reduce tax benefits for expatriates — alongside a bill that would cap the number of foreign students allowed to study in the country — have set off alarms at firms that rely on international talent. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/business/2024/03/27/companies/populism-big-businesses-netherlands/

The largest company in the Netherlands threatens to leave the country in protest against anti-migration policies.

ASML is the "only one in the world that builds machines for the most advanced semiconductors"

"It is now Europe's most valuable tech company, a growth that would not have been possible without its many foreign skilled workers."

Migration=Value.
