@artemesia@luckytran the Medicare/Medicaid payouts for the vaccines haven't changed since the article was published, but using my mom's Medicare Statement of Benefits for proof somehow didn't seem appropriate.

That's not to say the sticker price is the same as what CMS approves, but I'm thinkin' we need to be talking medical prices at least as much as we've needed to be talking about paychecks.

@noyes please read past the headline. the CDC didn't rescind the program just to be petty — instead, the House revoked its funding. cynically snapping at the administration without questioning what happened, plays right into the fascists' hands.
Republicans forced clawing back the COVID funding that was paying for free vaccines for the uninsured. Democrats had little choice in order to keep the government open.
Biden has a large number of wins, from checks in people's pockets in early 2021 to huge investments in renewable deployment and research to canceling college debt for millions of Americans to capping out of pocket costs for prescriptions for seniors at $2k/year.
