#CamelCase should be your default in #Hashtags:

#MeToo, as a contact of mine having to use a screen reader explained a longer time ago, it improves recognition.

The only exception I make is for all-caps abbreviations such as #USpol. #USPol would let me "hang" mentally when reading.
